I did not expect how LIGHT the bag would be and I’m gagged!!! It’s so chic and versatile and works when worn on the side and crossbody. Love that the strap can be tucked into the sides. Nice pockets within.
The ONE thing I wish it had — which I’ll DIY — are bag studs for bottom protection.
I bought the bag for my daughter birthday and she loved it. Thanks we love the material and finishing on the product too.
Love the bag because of its decent and spacious size + two compartments to store your loose items! Straps are interchangeable so you can style it whichever way you like based on your outfit.
Finally bought a work bag last week and love it. Here’s some pros and cons for people considering buying the runaway bag:
Pros:
- Looks great! Super soft leather, seems really well made. Great all around versatile bag.
- Fits a decent amount. I can fit my 13” laptop + charger, small umbrella, small food container, a book, a small water bottle and pens/keys/wallet etc in the 2 side pockets. I would not be able to fit much more than this.
Cons:
- A bit smaller than I expected (it fits a 13” MacBook BUT take into account the case size because with a fatter case the magnet struggles to close and the laptop may not fit)
- the magnet is quite weak in that if you put enough stuff in it the magnet won’t stay closed
Loves the look and the feel of the bag. I also love how versatile the bag is is so I can wear it with almost anything.
I never review things… but honestly this is the perfect bag, thank you! It’s impossible to find a good looking bag that fits a laptop!!
I love this bag :) I got the brown version and the color goes with everything I have. It fits my 13 inch laptop, charger, Tupperware, it’s the perfect work bag. I’m a bit taller so finding crossbody bags that fit comfortably can be hard, this one really pulled through. Not mention it’s very stylish and the waxed leather feels very durable and of great quality. I got another bag from here after seeing the quality of my first one.
Brown was such a good pick - it really does go with everything. So glad it fits all your work stuff and works for your height. And huge thanks for coming back for a second one! 🙌
This is my second purchase from Late to Work.
All i can say is the Kite lives up to its hype. my favourite quality is the sheen of the bag - and the material is truly luxe, and durable. The bag is also structured enough to carry as a crossbody, whilst also retaining some lax to carry as a shoulder bag. The rivets add a bit of style, though maybe not for everyone. Love!

I love this bag. The feeling of the leather and the way it shines makes me feel great about carrying it around.
I love the details in how it is put together. The silver studs in the handle elevate the bag from something casual to a real premium fashion item.
I would love a slightly longer handle because I am taller but that is just my personal preference.

Ive had my bag for over a week now, allowed the leather to wear in and soften up and I absolutely love it. It feels luxurious, it is stylish, and fits more than you would think. I normally try and rotate my everyday/casual/work bags but I cant help but rocking this everyday!

This has been a great purchase, strap is the perfect length for the bag to sit comfortably on your side. Stopped twice in Brooklyn to be asked where it is from. Works perfectly formal or casual. I always cycle socially, and the bag is great for it.

Took this out for its first spin last weekend and put in my various university notebooks, pens, iPad etc. and it held everything I needed very well, looked great and wasn’t too heavy.
The worst thing is when a bag is heavy before anything goes in, and this bag is not.

Look very soft on your neck. Somewhere between 'im soft, please hold me' to 'im edge enough so no one could hurt me'
It is very solid on hand. You can feel that it's not made from cheap material. A tad long to my taste.

I bought this bag a few weeks ago and have used almost everyday since! I’m able to fit my work laptop, lunch and pilates gear easily and it’s still comfortable to wear over the shoulder or cross body. Would highly recommend!
The size is perfect, the leather is beautiful and, best of all, it actually stays on my shoulder!
I got an ad for the Runaway Bag on instagram and I bought it that very same night. I’ve been searching for a new crossbody bag for a while now and this bag checked all the boxes. Can carry all my journals, books and my iPad and doesn’t look bulky at all. The bag is also really nice quality I love that it can be converted from a crossbody bag to a shoulder bag. 10/10 !

I have had this bag on my Wishlist since last December (I am writing this ion June) and I do not know why I did not buy it as it is one of the best bags I have ever purchased.
I literally take it to work, out with friends, to uni and it does not feel like the same bag!! It came very quick and the way it came with the straps inside and the whole bag in it's own dust bag made it feel very special!
And the amount it fits makes it even better!
Only downside was the smell of the vinyl on the inside. But after some wear and a bit of bicarb it was fine so nothing to worry about there!
